Four care services have been given an Innovation Award by Nottinghamshire County Council in conjunction with the Workforce Development Grant. Giltbrook Care Home in Giltbrook has just been awarded Investors in People status.
Corner House, a Learning Disability service in Mansfield,have won the Mansfield Chad Business Award 2010 - Team of the Year! This is the first time that any care organisation has been nominated, and they won outright with a unanimous vote from all 16 judges. Perhaps you can get involved next year?
Orchard Street, a mental health supported living project in Hucknall, has been working to promote anti-stigma within mental health services, creating user-led discussion groups and joining forces with other services.You can find details of the work they have done in this case study
