Temporary closure of Newark Library

Newark Library will be closed from 4.00 pm on Saturday 17 March 2012 and will re-open at 9.00 am on Monday 26 March 2012.

This is to enable the fitting of a new carpet throughout and to improve the organisation and layout of the library.

The nearest alternative Library is Balderton Library.

Temporary library closures

Any libraries which have had to close for refurbishment or due to severe weather will be listed on our disruption to services page.

'7 day Chart toppers' arrived in libraries

Popular books are just too good to read slowly.

Why not try out our new adult bestseller collections, available for one week only? We have all the books from the Top 10 paperback charts and as books can't be reserved or renewed, there will be even be more titles on the shelf for you to choose from.

Pop along to Arnold, Beeston, Bingham, Hucknall, Kirkby in Ashfield, Mansfield, Newark, Retford, Southwell, Sutton in Ashfield, West Bridgford and Worksop libraries to try them out.

Did you know we can now warn you before your items are due back? All you need to do is supply us with your email and we can send you out a courtesy email, three days before your items are due back.
