Grant Aid

There are various sources of sports funding. Take some time to research the right funding for you or your project. Get to know what funders might be looking for in an application before you begin to write applications.  

On this page you will find an introduction to grant schemes you may be able to apply for, as well as more information on where to go to look for other sources of funding.

Grants for Talented Individuals

Nottinghamshire County Council provides grant aid to talented individuals through our Rising and Shining Stars schemes.

Rising Stars - the deadline for Rising Stars applications has now passed. All applicants will be notified by 3 September 2012.

We anticipate the Shining Stars fund to be open for applications in Autumn 2012.

Grants for Sports Clubs

Nottinghamshire County Council provides grant aid to local sports clubs through the Community Sports Fund. Applications for 2012/13 will open on Monday 2 April and close on Thursday 31 May 2012. More information is available by visiting the Grants for sports clubs page.
