Village Ventures
The new Village Ventures season started on 15 September with the fabulous Water Tower Bucket Boys from Oregon USA (who recently featured on Radio 4's Loose Ends and have been brewing up a storm with their fantastic mix of Cajun, Bluegrass and country style music). Details of this and other events in the programme can be found at www.villageventures.org.uk
The Village Ventures programme features performances in village and community halls across the county. Supported by local volunteer promoters, the programme hosts a wide range of national and international touring companies and performers. From theatre to jazz, cabaret to folk and dance to children's shows, Village Ventures features a diverse and hugely enjoyable range of performances for all ages.
The programme is a partnership between the County Council, all of Nottinghamshire's District Councils, Arts Council England and over 300 local volunteers, enabling audiences to experience top class shows within their local communities.
