These pages will develop to reflect the growing diversity of roles that support children and young people in our schools.

At a time when the Training and Development Agency (TDA) is working to align standards and identify career paths for all staff our aim, through these pages, is to provide local, regional and national development news and information, both to inform and to help raise the profile and status of staff in our schools. The TDA will probably become 'The Training Agency' in the course of 2012 and will be an Executive Agency within the DfE. It will be principally responsible for ensuring quality in the workplace.
